Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

Awabakal will be providing regular updates on how our service delivery may change during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

SERVICE CHANGES

Medical Services

All Clinics have now moved to phone consultations.

Scripts can be requested through a phone consultation. These will be sent to your preferred pharmacy directly after your phone consultation. For elderly or chronically ill patients, our transport team will then collect your prescription and deliver to your door.

All 715 appointments will be rescheduled for a later date. An Awabakal staff member will be in contact to arrange an alternate date.

Appointments can still be made on 4907 8555. These appointments will be had via the phone until further notice. Awabakal have a dedicated GP for COVID-19 enquiries, or you can call the national COVID-19 Health Information number on 1800 020 080. In the case of an emergency, please go to John Hunter Hospital.

Pregnancy health checks and immunisations are currently available at our Cardiff Medical Clinic, 15 Kelton Street, Cardiff.

Outreach Services will cease until further notice.

Early Learning & Education

For the health and safety of our staff and families, we will be closing all Awabakal Pre Schools until further notice. To all of our Awabakal families, please look after each other, and we hope to see you all again soon.

Playgroups are also postponed until further notice.
